Author Instructions
All papers submitted to EuroGNC, whether for review or publication upon acceptance, must be written in English and formatted according to the templates provided below. The template will be available in LaTeX as well as in Microsoft Word. The template for the 2024 edition of the conference can be downloaded here. For Overleaf users, the template is also available as Overleaf template: simply search for EuroGNC 2024 in the template library or use the direct link: https://www.overleaf.com/latex/templates/ceas-eurognc-2024-template/ctppsfhshyhx.
Please note the following points:
- All papers must be submitted as a PDF document.
- The maximum size for the PDF file is 15 MB, however authors are encouraged to optimize the size of their PDF to avoid unnecessary large file sizes, e.g. using vector graphics instead of bitmaps, avoiding unnecessary large resolutions or low compression levels for bitmaps. Note that vector graphics can sometimes be larger and harder to render on the reading device than a high-resolution bitmap (e.g. scatter plot with millions of points largely overlapping).
- An indicative limit of 12 pages is set for the main content of the paper, i.e. between the start of the Introduction until the end of the Conclusion.
This said, EuroGNC is an applied conference and authors are strongly encouraged to use the best models or tools at their disposal for their investigations. It is also crucial for the readers that the results presented can properly be interpreted: information about the models, tools, or scenarios/test procedures needed to achieve this goal should be provided, even if this leads to exceed the indicative page limit. Information that is not directly relevant to assess the novelties proposed in the paper should be left out. Included information should be provided in a concise and intelligible manner.
- The decision regarding the acceptance of each paper is at the discretion of the conference’s Program Committee (sub-committee of the CEAS GNC Technical Committee).
No paper, no podium / no podium, no paper policy:
- If the paper is accepted, at least one of the authors listed on the paper must attend the conference and present the paper according to the scheduling decided by the conference’s Program Committee.
- In the event that the presenter is unable to attend the conference for any reason, it is his/her responsibility to make sure that the paper is presented by a qualified colleague.
- At least one of the authors listed on the paper must register for the conference to upload the final manuscript.
- Exceptions may be granted at the discretion of conference’s Program Committee, typically only for plenary speakers.
