Hotels

There is no designated conference hotel.

We have agreed a discount with the Clifton Hotels group – please see booking details below.  This group includes four hotels that are within easy walking distance of the University/conference venue.  Note that they are situated in quite old buildings, with rooms of various sizes/layouts (unlike a typical US hotel with its large standardised rooms).

Apart from these local hotels, there are plenty others including those belonging to UK and international hotel chains.  Please use one of the online hotel booking sites (such as booking.com or Trivago, or Find Hotels in Bristol, the Centre and around Bristol (visitbristol.co.uk) … and other booking sites are available!) to search for a hotel to your liking/budget.

In terms of picking the hotel location: the conference venue is the Bill Brown Design Suite at the University of Bristol – just enter the post code, BS8 1UL, on an online map to help identify proximity to hotels.

Clifton Hotels group discount details

In order to reserve rooms, you will just need to quote the source code “EuroGNCBristol” at any four of our hotels, which will then apply the discount from the best available daily rate. Please note that this code is available on our website. It can also be used when booking directly with our hotels’ reception, either via phone or email.

Guests will be able to benefit from discounted room rates at all four of our hotels in Bristol’s Clifton area. Please note that these rates are not fixed, and are a discount off our Best Available Rates. These are subject to change depending on our availability, so we do ask that guests book early to avoid disappointment.

All guests will need to give their own card details in order to guarantee their reservations in the event of a no-show or cancellation. Cancellation policy for each room is 24 hours before arrival. Any later than that and a cancellation charge will apply.

Additionally, please ensure that you are aware that if you call between 3pm-6pm, our reception team may be busy with check ins and will be unable to book you in straight away however, they will call you back to confirm your reservation at the earliest convenience. If you are able to call outside of these times, that would be appreciated. Alternatively, our reception team is also available via email which they will respond to within 24 hours.
