Instructions for Student Poster Session

A special poster session has been organized on the first day to encourage attendance and participation in our professional conference to a group of students seldom present in, and participant of, this type of conferences.

The session is aimed at recent and current undergraduate / master-level students that already defended (in 2024, 2025) or plan to defend (in 2026) their GNC related thesis work.

The poster must be original (i.e., not having been presented elsewhere) and a 1-page abstract must be submitted by 20th Jan’26 including the title, authors/affiliations, and a description of the poster/topic and its pertinence to EuroGNC.

Acceptance will be notified by 28th Jan (just before the Early-Bird deadline), and then you are required to submit the final poster PDF by 20th April.

The affiliation by the registering current student / past-student must be that of the University that granted the degree, but the thesis’ supervisory co-authors can have their own affiliation (especially if the thesis was performed in, or funded by, industry or a research organization).

There will be three student poster sessions (identify to which one you are submitting the poster):

  1. GNC in Aeronautics,
  2. GNC in Space
  3. Cube/NanoSats, Drones and Rovers

Thanks to the efforts by the organizing committee and the support from our sponsors, a very low-cost, one-day registration of 50€ / 75€ (Early-Bird / Post-Early-Bird), has been established. This registration will include: (i) presentation of poster, (ii) attendance to all sessions held at the conference during the day of the poster session, and (iii) the coffees/lunches at the conference on that day.

Students registering for this option cannot attend other days nor present a regular/invited article.
